postheadericon Small Haul from Lane Bryant/Fashion Bug...

Well....I was sent a coupon for $20 off $40 purchase from LB. I just couldn't resist!!! didn't get but 2 things from LB and one from FB. I mainly only wanted some leggings but I had to have the $40 min from LB. I then decided to check out FB and I'm glad I did because they had some great clearance....

Here is what I got from LB:

Knit Buckle Leggings
Size: 14/16
Originally : $34.50
Before Tax Paid: $20.41
After: $22.00

I did size down in the leggings. I am normally a 18/20 in pants but because of the stretch I decided to go down a size which is always nice. *giggles* The buckles have three holes that you can either tighten or let out depending on your ankle thickness. Mine works well on the second hole.
Faux Pearl Bow Headband
Originally: $14.50
Before Tax: $8.59
After: $9.25

I really didn't want the headband as I felt I could purchase one similar for cheaper elsewhere but again I had to meet the $40 min and this was the cheapest thing I could find.

Here is what I got from FB:

Peep Toe Wedge
Color: Silverstreak
Size 10.5M
Originally: $24.99
Sale: $4.98
Before Tax: $3.49
After: $3.76

I ordered the shoes in a size 10.5M as they no longer had a wide. Although I'm normally a 10 I do wish I had just sized up to an 11 as the portion that rest over the foot cuts into my skin. I do think that with more wear it will stretch but until then it kinda hurts! I would send them back but considering the price I paid I just don't think it's worth it as I have worn them around the house and each time they feel better.... =]

I received free shipping because I let the items come to my local LB store. I have to say the shipping was the same as if it had come to my door! I ordered the items on a Saturday night....They were shipped by Monday and received at the store by Wednesday. Whoo hoo LB for the fast shipping!!! My total price was $35.01....Great price for shopping at LB!!!!

I really love LB and I wish I could shop there more often because I think the quality is awesome but I honestly think they charge toooo much for the items. Two pairs of pants and Im over $100. That's just not cool. That must be the reason they had to close stores and such. The coupons allow me to shop there so keep up that LB!

postheadericon My Review on Mineral Face Primer

Pretty Good
By CHarm from North Carolina on 7/24/2010
4out of 5
Pros: Easy To Apply, Good Value
Cons: Wears Off Easily
Best Uses: Dry Skin, Sensitive Skin
Describe Yourself: Trendy Style
Skin Tone: Deep
Age: 25-34
I use the product all over my face. I have super dry/sensitive skin and this product works just fine. It leaves my skin feeling so silky smooth that sometimes I use it without applying any makeup! This is the first face primer I have ever tried so I can't say it's better than anything else but it works for me. I would like ELF to make a bigger size bottle even if it means paying a little more.

postheadericon Hair Dye!!!

I recently decided to dye my hair. At first I just wanted to go light brown/blondish. My hair has never turned blonde when I was relaxed so I didn't think it would now that Im natural. Well, instead of using the usual hair dye, I decided to go with Clairol Textures & Tones permanent hair dye. I liked it because it stated it was moisture rich with no ammonia which seemed to dry out my hair sooooo much when I was relaxed........

So the first time around I chose color 6G Honey Blonde. Now this was a CUTE color. It actually took and made my hair look light brown with golden/blondish reflects. I'm assuming this was due to the dye including a booster packet. I think the booster packet acts as a bleaching agent. Either way, it was cute. But I couldn't stop there. I wanted to go lighter. It just wasn't blonde enough for me and to top it off one side of my hair didn't get as light as the rest of my hair. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before I colored again but rest assured it did take....

Which brings me to the second coloring. Silly me I forgot that it would go REALLY light considering I had just died it honey blonde. (I guess I had a REAL blonde moment there so to speak). Anywho....I purchased 7G Lightest Blonde and decided that I was going to dye the middle top portion of my hair the lightest. Meaning I would clor this portion first and leave on for 15 min before applying anywhere else. I then applied the color to the portion of my hair that did not take as well the first time. I let that sit for about 5 min then colored the rest of my hair. Well needless to say it TOOK......

I don't know if I'm quite that bold enough to rock it as is. I will take pictures as soon as I muster up the courage....It does look a tad orangey to me...but my mom says it looks blonde. She also said it makes me look dark...MOTHERS!....

Here is what the dye looks like....

Stay tuned for pics!!....

Pros: Functional, Easy To Use

Cons: Smell

Best Uses: Everyday

Describe Yourself: Trendy Style

The brush cleaner is good between cleanings but it does smell. The smell is not bad enough for me to stop using but I def notice it! Because of the smell Im not sure I would repurchase the product but it does make my brushes feel cleaner. It doesn't leave any residue (just the smell) after spraying.

Pros: Dries Quickly

Cons: Messy, Watery

Best Uses: Special Occasions

Describe Yourself: Dramatic, Trendy

I love the pastel colors. I have bubblegum pink and mint green as well as the clear polish. I love the colors! The only problem is that the polish is a tad watery and you have to use 2-3 coats to geat a nice color. The polish lasted almost 2 weeks before chipping.
