So.....I have wanted a pink friday shirt every since Nicki Minaj's CD dropped but being a plus size girl none of the shirts came in my size. I just happened to stop by Hot Topic and found a Nicki Minaj Tee. It's a slim fit tee (men shirt) but it is really cute! It was $22.00 but I got a discount because Im good like that. lol....

The picture doesn't do the shirt justice. It makes the shirt look large and just like a regular t-shirt. I got a 2X and because it is slim fit fits like a regular girls shirt would but longer! I'm not sure if stores carry the 3X but you can find it online for $24 if needed.

I plan on cutting it or something....maybe....Just wanted to share for the plus size Nicki fans!

I have been feeling this song for the last couple of days. Which happens to be ever since I discovered the song. I completely understand the lyrics and have felt the same way on numerous occasions.

Ok so I bit the bullet and bought the shoes I talked about in my previous post. I just couldn't help it!!!


I was having second thoughts on purchasing the shoe because of the heel height. They are 5 inch heels with a 1 inch platform. I normally don't do anything over 3.5 inches. I've messed up both of my ankles so they tend to be a bit weak when I stand in heels. These Torrid shoes were just too cute to pass up. Torrid at one point had flats in the exact same print but I did not get them when they were in stock. =[ Silly me.

Because I tend to buy black shoes or solid colored shoes, I just thought this would be a GREAT addition to my wardrobe. Plus I tend to gravitate towards black clothes too. This will definately spruce up the wardrobe! I purchased a size 10 (normal size). Hopefully the shoe fits. Torrid shoes usually run slightly larger and since this shoe is a wide I'm not sure what to expect. *fingers crossed*

So as stated the shoes were originally $39.00. Torrid had a 25% off sale that brought the shoes to $29.25. I used a $10 off coupon (btdm1210) plus my diva style discount of 5% (took off a whopping $0.96) my total for the shoes was $18.29! After the high as a kite $8.00 shipping and tax of $2.04, my total spent on the shoes was $28.33. I kind of wish I would have been able to go to the store and purchase them. That way I could have tried them on, and avoided paying the shipping. Unfortunately the store was closed when I made my purchase so I couldnt even call to see if they had my size and being since the closest store is 40 min away I wanted to MAKE SURE they had them before I took that drive. Plus torrid is having different sales and I did not want to take the chance of having to pay more for the shoes.

Well be sure to take a look at the website....Hopefully torrid will add more to the clearance section and have a 50% off next week so that I can stock up! =]


Now I have my eye on these shoes:

 The only thing stopping me is that the shoe is peep toe and it's cold where I live right now. I could of course save the shoe for summer/spring. But I want to first see how the wide width shoe fits before I go purchasing another. The Iron Fist shoe is an internet exclusive so I would have no choice but to order online. If the shoe fits....I will not only wear it (lol) I will order more!

Update: 12/07/10

I received the wild cat heels! I absolutely LOVE them. They are a slick type of material...meaning they are not suede or satin but it the material is "slick" to the touch. I also noticed that most of the shoes on torrids website state "wide width". I think this is because the shoes are made for a bigger foot. They still fit the same as any other 10 shoe I have ever worn from the store. The heel although skinnier than I am use to, still is sturdy. I don't feel as though I am going to break the heel or have that "bend" affect that you see with cheap heels. I will have to practice walking in the shoe as they are taller than I usually purchase. The bottom of the shoe is sorta "slippery" so you may have to get some grippers. =]

Overall a great addition to anyone's wardrobe. I would definately reccommend these, especially with a discount!

OK,...So I usually only buy from Torrid when they have a 50% off sale. I tried to wait to see what kind of black friday special they would have but the day before (Thanksgiving) I found out it would only be a few dollars off. Nothing special. Although a few dollars is better than no dollars but because I was stalking the site to make sure my sizes would not be taken before I could get them....I just decided to put myself out of my misery and just order some things.....I did make other purchase of which will be in my blogs to come but for now I ordered two dresses from Torrid.

Now because I have bought dresses from Torrid and I feel as though they run small, I decided to size up. In Torrid dresses I need at least a 20. To be a plus size store they really do have awful sizing. (I have to go up a size in anything that buttons up like blazers because the arms are narrow) Anyways....Here it goes

FYE: Pop-Rap - Pink Friday [Deluxe Version] Nicki Minaj / CD / 2010

If you want to get the Nicki Minaj Album then make sure to go to your local store and pick it up as it dropped today. I could not find the deluxe album in any store near me.

At Target the deluxe version is only available in stores but no store in NC carried it according to the locator on the website!....They do have the regular album available and also the "clean" version.

Walmart only sells the clean version but Target has the album for cheaper but I think shipping might be cheaper so it might balance out at the end of checkout....

I ended up purchasing the album from FYE for $12.99. The website stated you would get a free rubber bracelet with purchase so that's a little prize considering I could not get to the store. I also was able to get 10% off with a code from retailmenot.com. I paid $3.99 for shipping and with tax the price was $16.90.

Although I could have purchase the deluxe album in store for cheaper I just did not want to go to the store...lol... I'm having a lazy day and plus people are christmas shopping around this time and I just want to avoid the mall altogether.

I was able to hear samples of the song on Amazon.com. The album is $11.99 on amazon but I wanted the bracelet so I paid the $1 more.

I am really feeling the song SAVE ME (other songs as well but this one hit me)....

Now Im just waiting for MAC to release the lipstick. Like I've stated before I have been looking for a nice pink lipstick to go with my skin tone. I think "Pink Friday" will be perfect!

I got a chance to go to forever 21 yesterday to see the faith 21 line. Honestly everything was so crammed into a corner that it made shopping difficult! I did purchase the "pretty sequin skirt" in a 2X for $24.80. I also picked up the tank for $3.80. The cardigan was $15 from ashley Stewart and the tights are from lane bryant for $18. The shoes are from a previous haul from dsw.

I tried to show the makeup but I didn't do a good job. Lol.

Anyways back to the festivities. =]

I FINALLY received my F21 package today!




I tried on the leggings and I must say they are indeed comfortable. I would say order your correct size or size down. Due to the elastine in the leggings they have A LOT of give in them. I ordered the 3X and they don't look quite like the model. They are fitted but when you get to the ankle part they are loose. I will definately size down next time. Hopefully they get more in stock because I really wanted the black ones. They are thick so they will not show through like stockings but not as thick as the sweater type of leggings. Quite comfortable I must add again! Go get you some!

I also got my rings. LOVE them. Now I have everything I need for my great birthday weekend. Off to enjoy the festivities!!!!

Pink Friday 4 is supposed to be a mix of MAC Pink Nouveau (Satin) and MAC Girl About Town (Amplified Creme). I'm not one for pink lipsticks but I really want to try this one. I've been trying to find a "Barbie Pink" lipstick that will look good with my brown complexion but that is easier said than done. I've seen pictures of Nicki Minaj wearing her Barbie Pink lipstick and she makes it look so wearable.



To my knowledge the lipstick will be available for 4 Fridays starting on Friday November 26th. I've heard rumors that it might be available this friday November 19th for MACPro members. Since I am a Pro member I will be stalking the site all day to see if it drops!

It seems as if I get EVERYTHING before forever21 packages come. I ordered from Wet Seal last week and today my package is here. I ordered from F21 two weeks ago and I'm still waiting. Its a BIG turn off from shopping with them but the only way I can get the plus size line is to order off line. Grrrrrrr!....

Anyways...

I bought 3 things from Wet Seal and it only cost me $7! Well plus shipping and tax I paid a whopping $12.93. I love that kind of shopping! Here is what I bought...






I ordered the tights before I ordered the dress but got the dress first. WOW. As you can tell I am a little upset over this. Its coming down to the wire and I hope I get my package in time.

I will attempt to show all of my bday outfits using the clothes I recently purchased as well as makeup looks. We will see how that works out...Stay tuned.

I love DSW shoes. They often give GREAT coupons. I got a $20 off at least a $40 purchase. Wow!...I had to go shopping. Once you accumulate a certain amount of points you get certificates that pretty much work like money...$5, $10 and so on off of a purchase.....That kept me shopping. lol.... Here is what I bought...the price and what I paid for it....








At DSW when you are a Rewards Member, you get free shipping when you spend at least $35 so all of my shoes included free shipping! Any shoe that has a heel/wedge I always go up a size so all of the shoes I bought were a size 11. I don't have big feet. I have wide feet. It's so hard to find cute shoes in wides so I just buy larger sizes. DSW states that it goes up to a size 12 but I have yet to see any cute shoe in that size....but of course what might be cute to me might not be to someone else. I say check them out. They do carry designer shoes such as gucci, handbags and men shoes as well!

So...Can you tell I LOVE to shop? Lol. Anywho....I found out late last night via email confirmation that the LB assoicate that made my LB2Me purchase ordered the wrong bra. I was suppose to get the Lace T-Shirt bra in Petal Pink but for some weird reason she ordered it in Desert Flower. Now I could understand if I had not given her the EXACT bra that I wanted just in a different size! Tsk Tsk LB! I attempted to call LB online and get it corrected. The online representative stated she was unable to make changes to the existing order but she would send me out another bra at no cost to me. I would just have to send the wrong bra back (of course at not cost) when I received it. Unfortunately for me there was no more of my size online. I was able to go to a different LB and get my pink bra!!!!! You can take a look at the pink bra in a previous post if you want a looksee. I got a 40% off coupon for LB that I got to use for a cacique bra purchase that I used taking the total to $21 and some change. The other bra I will return as I dont want that color. I will just use that $25 towards my next purchase when I get to use my Real Woman dollars.

Moving on.....

I went to Forever21...lol...No matter what mall I go to I have to check them out. Now again if they would only get the plus size line in the store near me. (I do plan on visiting the store in Raleigh, NC that sells the plus line to see if they have anything I want...lol...stay tuned for that). I bought a cute bracelet and some more ankle socks....




The bracelet to my surprise is not tight (the reason I bought it..lol) As you can tell two leaves make up the end points of the bracelet. It is selling for $6.80. I could not find a picture of it online so here are my own pics.






I also bought 5 more pairs of socks. I LOVE the cute designs on them. I must admit that I hate wearing socks....or shoes for that matter. I'd rather walk around barefoot and I take my shoes off the first chance I get...lol (even if they are the baddest shoes ever)....But since I tend to get sicker as the weather gets colder my mother thinks its a good idea to wear them. If I must then I wear the thin ankle socks. F21's socks are perfect!....I don't know how long they will last since these couple of days have been my first purchase but maybe I will update that at a later date. Here are the socks I bought:


Ok so I was going to save this last item for my makeup haul but I've bought so much makeup that I will probably either do a video or list the things I bought on here with no pics. I will list where I bought them though....Anyways....Here is what I bought from MAC!...



I decided to get the collection because I originally wanted the melon pigment but that would have been $19.50 by itself. I figured I could at least try 5 different ones for twice the money. The Gift o'Glamour and Gold Mode remind me of that color. I already have the Bronze eye shadow and I really want to see if the reflect bronze glitter will look good when paired with it.
 
I also bought a wig.....
 
 
This go around I spent waaay less money. I don't plan on buying anything else until this coming weekend....THE BDAY WEEKEND.....Stay tuned for the Wet Seal/Forever 21 (orders from offline) update/review as well as the makeup up video or posting!

So I went to the mall with my mom today and we went on a little shopping trip!…We only hit a 3 stores but managed to spend well over $300.…mostly coming out of my pocket…lol. The first store we went to was LB or Lane Bryant….




Here is where I spent the bulk of the money. We did have a coupon for $25 off $75...you know …one of those coupons that gives you a portion off depending on how much you spend. I wont mention what my mom bought but I bought 2 bras (2 have to be mailed to me since my size was not in store), panties (5 for $29 but I got 3 and my mom got 2), and a sequined tank. It baffles me how even with my mother’s two additional items we spent $145 in that store. VERY over priced if you ask me. I did get some real women dollars. They stated that I would be able to get $75 off of a $150 purchase starting after Thanksgiving. I saw some pants that I want but at $60 I left them there. I might just go back and get them. I do like the face that LB had little stocking stuffer items available for purchase…little wallets, watches, nail polishes, and such for a reasonable price.

I also went to Forever 21. I can never go to the mall and not visit F21! I had been eyeing some things from the website and thankfully the store had them! That’s like a first ever. Now if they would only get the plus line! I only spent $20 in there with two necklaces, 3 pairs of socks, and a ring.

We went to Maurices. Now this store is OVERPRICED! At least LB has quality behind the clothes. Maurices is nothing more than an overpriced F21! Because I don’t have too many options when it comes to in store shopping I decided to make a purchase. I needed a shrug to go over the tank. Because my birthday is next week I really didn’t want to take the chance of ordering something and not receiving it in time. The shrug I found was very thin and black and was priced at $32. With the item that my mother wanted we spent $67. I ended up returning my shrug 30 min later. It just wasn’t worth it…Plus I found something BETTER and CHEAPER from Ashley Stewarts.

From Ashley Stewarts I purchased a belerro type of shrug. It has a lace back and the front is loosely reminiscent of a blazer type of jacket. It only cost $15! Better quality and cheaper price!
 
Now I could not find a picture of the cardigan that I purchased from Ashley Stewart but it has a lace back. The front puts you in the mind of a blazer but it is not structured. It just has lapels. I hope that's clear. Also it is waist length in the back and hangs longer in the front. I purchased a size 18. It was on clearance for $19.99 with an additional 30% off. yay me.

I was going to save my Torrid Haul (all of two items) and combine it with my Wet Seal Haul (3 items) but I just couldn't wait!...lol.....I am trying to come up with the perfect T-Day (birthday) outfit which gives me a reason to shop. That and the fact that I have been sick!...But Im doing much better....Maybe it's because I'm getting packages...lol. Anyways here are the two things I bought from Torrid.....
