postheadericon Torrid Mini Haul

I received an email from Torrid that stated you get free shipping on a $25+ purchase so I decided to take a look. On instagram I've seen a picture of a pair of gorgeous shoes floating around but I never bothered to find out where they were sold. Needless to say I found them!!!

Pink & Nude Color Blocked Studded Heels (Medium Width)

SKU: 10004224

Was $44.50 Now $29.99

Description

Pink & Nude Color Blocked Studded Heels (Medium Width)

Add color blocking with edge to your look in these pointy toe pink patent heels with studded nude straps. The shorter heel is perfect for day to night (to all night) looks. Fits roomier than the standard medium width.

I just couldn't leave them there! At such an incredible price, I HAD to get them!!!

I also purchased a ring that I've been eyeing for quite some time.

Description

Three Rhinestones Silver Ring

Throwing unbelievable sparkles, three clear rhinestones gorgeously adorn this silver ring.

It was a no brainier to but the ring because I've been wanting it for quite some time but couldn't justify paying shipping for just a ring. This time I didn't even have to worry about shipping!!!

Ok so my subtotal was $34.98. With tax of $2.36 and free shipping, I paid $37.34! Considering if I had paid regular price for both items, I came out at an amazing deal!!!!

postheadericon H&M Style

I don't normally post H&M hauls because I don't really shop there. The one near me doesn't sell plus size so I don't make many purchases.

With that said, I couldn't pass up a couple of shirts! I was surprised they fit because they are from the divided red line which is cut smaller for teens.

Both shirts were $14.95. My Mickey tank and my Notorious BIG tank will be hot for the summer.

I was thinking of posting outfit of the day pictures. Would anyone like to see those?

postheadericon Old Navy!!!!

Is it just me or is old navy downsizing on the amount of bigger sizes it carries in store. I went into my local store and could not find anything above a 16 and even those were far and few in between!

I checked online and managed to see an ample amount of clothing but I hate paying shipping for only a couple of items. Especially when I think if they would only carry it in stores then I wouldn't have to worry about shipping cost. I'm just not a fan of free shipping at a certain amount when no stores near me carry a size 18 or 20 at all! And that includes stores up to 2 hours away! That's ridiculous!

Although a lot has changed at old navy (most for the worse in my opinion) I did purchase two pairs of shorts (online in a size 30 from the straight sizes) during their 50% off shorts sale. I wish I could've purchased more but being since I have not ordered or purchased in so long, I'm not sure of my size.

I decided on a couple of twill shorts both of which have wonderful prints!

To make this deal even better, I used two giftcards I had which took off $25. I also had a discount code that took off 15%. With the expensive shipping of $7 and tax of $1.91, I only spent $5.18 out of pocket.

Despite this great deal, if I had been able to find my size in store, I would've saved even more!

postheadericon Wetseal Haul

So as my loyal readers may know, wetseal has a junior plus line. I actually think the sizes are much more true to size and they go up to a 24 plus size, while Forever 21 stops at a 20.

I haven't been shopping at wetseal too often lately because I strongly believe their clothing is overpriced. Many of the items I can get from local stores like Dots or Rainbow for much cheaper and I can try their clothing instead of having to order online.

Anywho, wetseal had an amazing deal that I just could not pass up! I've been eyeing a pair of denim shorts with stars on them for quite some time now. They were on special for $15! I also picked up a denim shirt because they are so hard to find in my size and two pairs of canvas sneakers. In all I only spent $22!

I used ebates so I will be getting 2.5% back and I was able to get $20 and free shipping. How could I say no?!?

postheadericon It's So Coconutty!

I'm a sucker for all things coconut scented! While I was browsing the many isles of Walmart, I came across these little babies and decided to give them a try.

Because they were less than $1, I thought I'd try them out. For starters the pads are very thin...

While using them I felt like they would rip. kind if like a wet napkin. I'm not sure if they are meant to be doubled or if they stick together but it would seem that in order to fit 32 pads into this container, they would be singles. With that being said I used two on each hand. Although I liked the scent, they just didn't work to remove my nail polish effectively. I had to add a little regular polish remover to the pads and they worked like a charm. The regular liquid remover did not seem to interfere with the coconut smell. I did feel like there was a slight residue left on my fingers after use.

All in all its just a waste of money regardless of how much, or in this case little, they cost. The smell is okay. Non of that acetone smelling stuff like usual. If you plan on using the pads with your regular remover just for the scent then by all means have ago at them!!

After:

Slightly stained from the nail polish I used (saved by the blue by wet n wild), but the combination of liquid remover and pads took the polish right off.

More pictures!!

postheadericon Come on, get happy

I've been feeling a little under the weather lately. I think it's a combination of work and allergies...To take a load off I decided to treat myself to a little home relaxation.

I found some bath and body works candles that I completely forgot I had! I found minis of both "coconut leaves" and "pink sangria". They both smell so wonderful! Coconut leaves smells just like the name. It reminds me of a breeze blowing the scent of coconuts my way. Just a nice wash of coconut without being overbearing. Pink sangria is a fruity scent. It reminds me of a tropical scent you would breathe in while relaxing on an exotic beach!

I decided to light up pink sangria! I swear it was like aroma therapy. Although I still feel under the weather, I feel more relaxed!!

What do you do to relax when you're feeling a little blue?
